Bandra's Joggers Park - one of Mumbai's finest examples of a green space created and maintained by residents was on Wednesday (Feb 1) taken over by the BMC.

In its first decision after taking over the garden-cum-jogging track, which was thrown open to public in 1990, the BMC discontinued its Rs 2 entry fee, but promised to continue to adhere to the high standards of maintenance set by its caretaker trust.
