Expert: Ashwinder Singh and Aditya Pratap

Q: We want to file a writ petition for cancellation of sale deed, permanent injunction and partition for our share in ancestral property (for an agricultural land in Delhi). The sale deed was made by our father 3 years ago after which my father passed away. What should we do now?

A: Certainly you can take an action. As this is an ancestral property, your father did not own it. He was just a coparcener like you or the karta. And he has misused his position as a karta of the property as detriment to his daughters.
