After repeated attacks on doctors across Maharashtra, we had asked the government to beef up security in government hospitals, guards have now been appointed at KEM, Cooper, Sion and Nair among other hospitals. A direct hotline for doctors and rapid action force is among other measures that will ensure doctors are safe when treating patients.
