The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has collated a list of 40 VVIPs who will receive preferential treatment in Mumbai's civic hospitals. As per the list, group leaders of the BMC from all political parties and Bureaucrats including BMC chief Ajoy Mehta and his relatives will get preferential treatment. The list includes chairman and members of the special committee and ward committee among others.
