The air ambulance is a specially designed helicopter equipped with facilities to even treat cardiac arrests. The ambulance can carry a doctor, a paramedic and the patient who may be accompanied by a relative. The service has been inaugurated on Sunday by Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa.
