as posted by the channelA day after the Union Cabinet approved a historic proposal to provide 10 % reservation to 'economically weaker' Upper Caste, a Constitutional Amendment Bill was tabled in Parliament on Tuesday. The proposed quota will be over and above the existing 50 per cent reservation that has been granted to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes.
