The capital city of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar is on the edge, following violent protests on the issue of permanent resident certificates for members of 6-tribes. In this agitation, one was killed & another was injured in when the police fired on protestors who tried to attack the private residence of the CM Pema Khandu. The angry protestors then resorted to vandalism & attacked the Deputy CM Chowna Mein.
