Alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers, including BJP president Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, and former foreign secretary S Jaishankar, took oath at a spectacular ceremony at the forecourt of majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, Some of the key faces in the previous Modi government, including Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Maneka Gandhi, and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore were not part of the new Council of Ministers.
