Over 90,000 hectares of farms inundated. 15 people in Assam died due to floods, 10 Lakh animals affected by floods and more. Assam Chief Minister of Assam has already asked for help and donations from the country. The floods are mainly being attributed to the overflowing water of the Brahmaputra river. To minimize the loss of human life and to house the imperiled citizens at a safe place, 62 relief camps were set up by the government. Even with water reaching their houses, the people of the state have not received adequate help from the government. Assam needs our attention.
