In Uttarakhand, no girl child was born in 132 villages. The activist has suspected female foeticide takin place in these villages. The district magistrate has decided to closely monitor the situation for the next few months.
In Karnataka assembly, the BJP politician BS Yeddyurappa says he won't leave until the floor test takes place. The drama is all building in the assembly as the speaker has stated he wants to conduct the vote on the very day. The speaker has the rights but he is not using them to their potential. This will go on for a while.
Maharashtra Chief Minister has written a letter to the Election Commissioner suggesting the linking of Adhar card and Voter ID as he states it will bring in more transparency. The linkage will prevent bogus votings.
