24:31Now PlayingOn The Big Story, A Kolkata based model was murdered in Bengaluru by an Ola driver. The incident took place when the victim was on her way to the airport close to 4 AM on July 31st. The driver allegedly drove her to an isolated place and demanded that she hand over all her valuables and when she refused, the driver hit her on the head and stabbed her multiple times and later dumped her body.
The previous government in Karnataka had said that they will launch their own app-based taxi service as Ola & Uber are becoming unsafe for women.
