22:53Now PlayingOn Wednesday, September 18, 2019, the government of India announced a ban on the production, import/export and sale of electronic cigarettes, commonly called e-cigarettes, adding they can adversely affect health. "Definitely this is a welcome move. Earlier E-Cigarettes came as a harm reduction model, for helping people quit smoking. And now people are starting with E-Cigarettes", says Dr. Sajeela Maini, Tobacco Control Foundation of India.
