4:56Now PlayingThe Indian Railways has changed its standard operating procedure and has issued a new set of protocols for migrants, they said that originating states will have to register the passenger and give railways a request, after which the train will run. The consent of the terminating state to run the Shramik Express train is no longer necessary.
Ministry of Home Affairs had also asked for proactive coordination between States & Railways to ensure more trains run for these migrant workers. This decision taken by the railways iv very huge as they no longer have to take permissions from both the states before departure.
