The diesel prices have surpassed the petrol prices in some regions of the country and the centre is facing backlash from the political parties as well as the public. The rising prices is due to the increased taxes of the fuel. RJD, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party showed their displeasure and protested by riding on cycles across the country.
