He has at least 60 criminal cases against him and was out on bail. The gangster also killed a State Minister during a political rally in front of a huge mass. He is also known as the Robin Hood of Kanpur.
Eight Uttar Pradesh police personnel, including a deputy SP Devendra Mishra, were killed after they were fired upon when a police team had gone to raid a house in search of Vikas Dubey.
