A team of policemen had gone to arrest gangster Vikas Dubey after a local resident filed a case of attempt to murder against him. During the lookout for Dubey, the policemen came under heavy fire from 8-10 of his associates. Four policemen have also suffered injuries while eight cops succumbed to the gunfire. Police said the two were killed during a combing operation when they allegedly fired at the police party.
