The numbers seem to rise at an exponential rate with the country have reported the single largest spike in the past 24 hours of around 25, 000 cases. The number of cases in the country has risen to more than 7.5 lakhs and the tally is soon to cross the 8 lakh. The staggering rise is seen in the South along with Delhi and Mumbai, with the Southern states rising more numbers.
