On The Urban Debate with Tanvi Shukla, the question of examinations amid the Coronavirus pandemic was being discussed. Dr. Mungekar, Former Rajya Sabha MP, Congress, Former VC, Mumbai University questions if there is a legitimate fear about holding examinations in the current scenario or can it be done and everything else is just politics?

Akshay Marathe, AAP explains how he took an online examination and he assures that if he did not have a laptop, a quiet room, and speedy WiFi connection, it would have been impossible to take the examination, he then states that a large majority of the country does not have access to these amenities. He further questions the central governments over why they are holding the future of the students to ransom.

Professor MM Ansari, Former Member, UGC, states that a large number of universities have conducted examinations or are in the process of conducting examinations, whereas others have expressed their inability due to the COVID threat.
