as posted by the channelBreaking news comes to light from Punjab where Excise Department had seized 27000 litres of spurious liquor. Four people have been booked in the case as of now. 130 drums with 200 litres of fake alcohol in each drum were confiscated by the raid team. This raid was conducted after the Hooch Tragedy killed hundreds of people.
The sample of the seized liquor will be further sent to the forensic department to reveal the ingredients used in the manufacturing process. Excise team along with Punjab Police launches a search operation for spurious liquor. Three factories were raided in the Mohali village, while other raids are still underway.
