as posted by the channelAfter Idduki landslide in Kerala, another incident of landslide reported from Chamoli in Uttarakhand. The monsoon continues to create havoc in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well.
The landslide occurred late last night on the Badrinath National highway, post which the shops in the neighborhood were also affected by it and the roads were blocked. In another instance, the water level in the river of Pithoragarh rises and the locals are forced to risk their lives to cross the river. A temporary bridge was made to cross the river using logs.
The Himachal government has stated that heavy rains are expected Tuesday onwards.
