as posted by the channelIPL 2020 is the first event that is happening during the COVID era and there would be secure changes in the event. The first big change is a biosecure bubble. It is essentially a secure environment comprising the ground and the hotel rooms where the players are in and they are not allowed to go outside. They are only allowed to go in these two venues but if they go there will be strict action taken against them. Players are going to be closely monitored. Their health history, medical history, travel history all from 1st March 2020 going to be closely scrutinised and submitted the authorities.
Also, before boarding the flight to the UAE, two COVID tests will be done only if the test is negative they will be allowed to go. Once they land they will be immediately taken to their hotel rooms and every franchise is staying at a separate hotel. There will not interaction between the players. In the hotel rooms, they will need to be stay put during which there will be 3 separate test conducted on them.
The first test is on the day of arrival. The second on the third day and the third test is going to be on the 6th day.
