Kerala government was praised for managing the COVID crisis relentlessly with strategies but the government that has now come under a lot of pressure and it now finds itself in the midst of a storm. Details have emerged that the state police have ordered the call data records of all the COVID-19 patients so that their contacts can be traced. This is a new method the government has come up with and no other state has implemented that. Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan added to the outrage that it has been going on for a few months now. The police have defended the movie and the opposition is fuming over and it is calling the move an ethical and legal violation and the move is a clear breach of individual privacy.
