as posted by the channelThe city of Pune in Maharashtra is raising huge concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak after it reported maximum numbers of active pandemic cases across the country. A Sero Survey was conducted by local authorities. Total 1164 people have inspected out of which 51.5% of people have antibodies.
Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope says that the Government Task Force has been given the responsibility to take a final call on the use of the anti-viral drug Tocilizumab.
He further added that the drug manufacturer has said there is no direct proof which says that the drug helps in the clinical improvement of Covid-19 patients and assured that at least 5000 Antigen tests per day and the Pune authorities are increasing the health infrastructure capacity.
