as posted by the channelThe Union Health Ministry in the press conference today said the absolute death number and new cases in last five days are witnessing a downward trend in India but there is no reason to slacken the guard.
The officials said there are three vaccines being developed in India & are in different stages. One of them will enter phase 3 trials today or tomorrow.
On the issue of reconsideration of Tocilizumab as investigational therapy, VK Paul, Member, NITI Aayog said the medicines are included based on scientific evidence and that ICMR task force will take the emerging evidence in consideration.
The Health Ministry officials said that recovered patients complaining of multiple ailments is a new dimension, and the ministry as of now doesn't have a number as to how many people are witnessing such symptoms.
