2:20Now PlayingMetro Services in the National Capital are all set to resume functioning from the 7th of September in a graded manner. The Delhi Government has issued new Standard Operating Protocols keeping in mind the outbreak and crisis that may happen due to COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Delhi Transport Minister, Kailash Gehlot, thermal screening to be conducted outside every station, no tokens will be issued at the Metro stations and one-meter distance will be maintained inside metros. The government is also mulling to revamp ACs inside metros and this decision will be taken after a nod from the Central Government.
