Delhi has seen over 4000 cases in 24 hours just yesterday. Public transports and metro services have been stopped yet again. The national capital is the worst affected among 5 metro cities in India. Pune has also seen a massive spike of over 5000 cases in the last 24 hours. In Bengaluru, more than 3000 cases were reported just yesterday.
Mirror Now News Editor Tanvi Shukla spoke to Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences Director Dr Sarin about the vaccine trials being stopped and how has it impacted the country. He said that we need to be very careful if there is a side effect, adverse effect of every vaccine is graded. He also said that Grade 4 refers to death in a vaccine trial and if there is one death, there is a need to look back.
The Government issues show-cause notice to Serum Institute after vaccine trial was halted in the U.K; asks the institute to explain the vaccine status.
