Medium-long duration funds are open-ended debt schemes. The investments in instruments are in duration of 4-6 years. Duration management is actively based on interest rates. If the interest is expected to fall, this means that the duration is increased and vice versa. The category returns for 1 year is 9.24%, whereas for 3 years it is 6.57%.
