as posted by the channelMicro Blogging site Twitter has submitted an apology to the Central Government. The social media giant wrote an apology letter to India’s parliamentary panel after wrongly depicting Leh and Ladakh as part of China.
Chairperson of Joint Committee of Parliament on Data Protection Bill, Meenakshi Lekhi stated that ‘We have received an affidavit from Twitter where they have accepted their mistake of wrongly geo-tagging a part of Ladakh and showing it as part of China’. She further went on to say that Twiter has informed that they will rectify the mistake it by the 30th of November.
