2:24Now PlayingThe U.S pharma firm Moderna is likely to apply for authorisation in the U.S and U.K for the releasing of its COVID vaccine. The firm is going to apply for the authorisation based on the results of its late-stage study which showed 94.1 per cent effectiveness without any serious safety concerns.
In the study, 196 participants including 33 adults of 65 years and 42 volunteers from different racial groups were examined. The company claims that its vaccine can be effective for all age groups, genders, and creed. They have also claimed that the Moderna vaccine is 100% effective to cure the spreading of the virus. After Pfizer, Moderna has become a 2nd company to apply for authorisation in America.
