This comes in after, the High Court called that Roshni Act as unconstitutional and questioned its parameters for rich and poor.
Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir High Court ordered a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the land scheme and even directed the agency to file a status report. Names of top leaders including PDP Chief and Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah have emerged in the case. The CBI is currently probing the matter.
