VK Paul, a member of Niti Aayog spoke about the concerns and fears of the mutation of the COVID-19 virus. VK Paul stated that the mutation of the virus is not affecting the severity of the disease. The case fatality is not affected either, adds VK Paul. He has further asked the people to not panic about the same. A detailed set of SOPs has been given out by the Centre, to deal with the current situation. All passengers traveling from the UK from Dec 21-23rd will have to undergo a mandatory RT-PCR test, at the time of their arrival in India.
