Hospitals do not have to adhere to a defined schedule to inoculate citizens against Covid-19 and can extend or advance the vaccination schedule at any time, according to the government, in a move that will help speed up the vaccination campaign.
“To speed up vaccination, the government has relaxed time limits. Vaccinations are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In response to a newspaper article, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan tweeted, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi understands the importance of both time and health of people." Since the government's CoWIN app and website bind all hospitals, both private and public, the government's flexible schedule is applicable to all.
