6:15Now PlayingIn order to address the concerns of senior citizens and those in the age group of 45 and 59 with comorbidities will now have the liberty to get vaccinated at the nearest primary health centre. Starting today, the government has decided to ramp up vaccination from 270 centres to 3000 centres across the state. Vaccination will be administered at your nearest primary health centre, community health centre, Taluk hospitals, district hospitals and government and private hospitals.
The government is also targeting to vaccinate 1.5 lakh people each day, from 30,000 beneficiaries. However, what remains a major concern is the issues faced on the Cowin portal. We are already a week into the second phase of vaccination. As we speak, several primary hospitals continue to faces glitches on the portal in terms of vaccination module not loading. What remains a concern is how the healthcare workers are planning to fix this glitch at the primary and community level.
