3:07Now PlayingOn Tuesday, Maharashtra announced 9,927 new COVID-19 cases and 56 deaths, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 22,38,398. Maharashtra's cumulative recovery count increased by 12,182 in the last 24 hours, bringing it to 20,89,294. There are 95,322 active cases in the state right now. The cumulative number of deaths in the state is 52,556. In Mumbai, however, there were two deaths and 1,012 new COVID-19 incidents.
According to the BMC, the total number of positive cases in Mumbai has now reached 3,35,584. In Mumbai, at least 11,506 people have died as a result of the outbreak, and there are currently 10,736 active cases. Meanwhile, the Centre has advised all states and union territories to register and activate all private facilities, as well as to provide them with enough COVID-19 vaccines to last 15-28 days, so that they can give people online open slots for vaccination.
