1:26Now PlayingToday the Delhi High Court dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding banning the airing of insensitive or negative news on their news channels, such as mass-scale deaths and people suffering due to shortage of oxygen and ICU beds. The court said that informing the public about Covid-19 death numbers is not negative news. A Bench of Justin Patel and Justin Jasmeet Singh on Monday while dismissing the PIL said, "It seems this is publicity interest litigation instead of public interest litigation."
