Patients in Gurugram and Faridabad have to visit the testing lab to get themselves tested for covid. The labs are overburdened, and there are no human resources in the testing labs. Additionally, there is a fear of infection to the lab technicians, which led to no home RT-PCR.
On calling the labs, they initially did not answer the calls. Still, after repeatedly calling, the reporter got the booking after ten days from now, which creates a panic situation amongst the patients. Labs even mentioned that many of their technicians are covid positive hence they lack the workforce to perform the tests.
