An update has now come for the same and the Punjab govt has now taken cognizance and has decided to call back those vaccines and the money will be refunded as well. Punjab's Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu in a bid to repair the damage stated that they are not in charge of supplying vaccines to the private hospitals.
After facing heat from the opposition party in the state, the Congress-led government has now decided to withdraw its order and admitted to selling as many as 42,000 jabs to private hospitals.
