as posted by the channelIn the ongoing tussle between the Mamata Banerjee government and the Centre, Didi has intensified over the vaccine certificate. As per the updated format, the vaccine certificates for the 18-44 age group in West Bengal will now have CM Banerjee’s photo on it, instead of PM Narendra Modi’s, as the state itself is procuring the vaccines. Earlier the TMC had complained to the EC over PM’s image; they wrote to the EC over removing PM’s image from the certificate. This comes in as a backdrop on the cyclone brief meeting, in which she suggested that the prime minister's image is inappropriate on the vaccine certificates. However, now the West Bengal certificates are being seen with her images replaced against the PM's picture.
