After the Haryana police arrested several farmers who were protesting against JJP MLA on June 1st, this took place, charging them for mishandling the MLA Devendra Singh Babli. In this latest protest, Tikait has demanded a release of those arrested or arrest of those still protesting too. Farmers surrounded JJP MLA’s car on 1st June while he was passing from the area near Tohana. In response to the charges and arrest for manhandling the MLA, another group of farmers protest for their release. In addition, the farmers have expressed their anger towards the controversial statements of Devender Singh Babli at that time.
