Due to the raging second wave of the COVID pandemic, many people have been tested positive for the virus and there has been an increase in the number of fatalities. Those who are fighting COVID or have recovered it are suffering from serious health issues that are affecting their mental health. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, there is a 4% rise in post-traumatic stress disorder cases. Data reveals that in the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, 3500-4000 calls were recorded regarding this and now 14000 calls are being recorded of those who are suffering from mental or traumatic stress disorder after losing their loved ones due to COVID.
