3:54Now PlayingSix men were apprehended by police with a cache of a little over 13kg of gold in biscuits and Rs 57 lakh in cash after allegedly stealing the jewels from the flat of a law business owner. In connection with the theft at Silver City Society in Delta 1 in September of last year, no written complaint had been filed. According to sources, the unit owner avoided filing a written complaint because he believed the value of the stolen assets would draw the attention of the income tax department. The total gold seized from the flat is estimated to be over 40kg, with the cash amounting to roughly Rs. 6.5 crore, according to police. Only after an investigation will the exact amount be known.
