5:55Now PlayingBJP MP Ravi Kishan from Uttar Pradesh Ravi Kishan, a former actor in Bhojpuri and Hindi films, writes a letter to the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting as well as Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar seeking a ban on the vulgar content in Bhojpuri movies. As per him, there needs to be a law in place to curb such content.
The actor turn politician who himself has featured in nearly 60 Bhojpuri films, now seems to be having change of heart. Ravi Kishan also said that rampant vulgarity degrading our culture and recently the quality of Bhojpuri movies has in fact worsened, with a limited check on OTT platforms.
