The attack took place when Rekha was distributing food kits outside her house. In the year 2018, the husband of the deceased corporator was also murdered. The Chief Minister of the state BS Yediyurappa has taken cognizance in this entire matter, and he assures arrests within 24 hours. It is reported that the police has also started an investigation in this matter. It is also coming to the fore that the CCTV cameras installed outside the house were diverted to the other side.
