Pushkar Singh Dhami is likely to be announced as the new chief minister of Uttarakhand. Tirath Rawat has said that Dhami is a young leader and the state is bound to prosper in his leadership in the coming years. With respect to the next year’s elections, the state conducted a crucial meeting with other BJP leaders to make important decisions. An official announcement is yet to be made by the state leaders. The prospect will be taken to the state governor’s notice and the official notice is likely to follow thereafter. Dhami has been made the BJP legislature leader for the state, right before the official announcement. "There is a serious crisis of leadership in BJP because they can’t find a suitable person to take the state ahead in terms of governance, administration & a corruption-free govt," says Congress’ Anuma Acharya.
