3:03Now PlayingIn the state, a 24-year-old pregnant lady was discovered afflicted with the mosquito-borne Zika virus. The virus has been reported for the first time in Kerala. Despite the fact that the sickness is not lethal, the state's health department has issued a notice. It has been learned that 13 of the 19 samples sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune for testing were found to be positive for the virus. There is, however, no formal confirmation of this. Thiruvananthapuram was the source of all samples. The virus-positive 24-year-old pregnant woman from Parassalla, near Thiruvananthapuram, is stable and receiving treatment at a private hospital.
