6:41Now PlayingOver 40 journalists from India along with Indian ministers, government officials and opposition leaders have been targeted by an app called 'Pegasus'. According to a report from The Wire and other publications, their phone numbers were found on a database of targets for hacking that used Israeli spyware 'Pegasus' which is only available to governments. However, these allegations have been denied by the Centre. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology called the snooping allegations false and malicious stating that there has been no unauthorised interception by government agencies.
