4:31Now PlayingThe SSLC or Class 10 exams for students of the state board began in Karnatake today. A total of 8.7 lakh students are slated to appear for the exams. Core subjects of Maths, Science and Social Studies is being held today, while languages will be held on July 22nd. The pattern of the paper will be multiple-choice questions and the students will have to mark the right answers on the Optical Mark Reading (OMR) sheet given to them at the examination centres. Only 12 students are permitted to sit in each classroom and all Covid appropriate behaviour would have to be followed. Those students who have tested positive for Covid-19 and want to appear for the exams are being allowed to do so from the nearest Covid Care Centre.
