3:22Now PlayingAs per the latest reports on the endless wait for coronavirus aid, the Tamil Nadu state government has not compensated the covid-19 warriors’ families with any relief funds. Over 110 doctors have died amid the pandemic, and the compensation has been given to only two families after it’s been nearly two months. 108 families are still waiting on a government relief package. Doctors died during the covid-19 second wave, and the states’ unkept promise was to provide ₹25 Lakh compensation to kin of deceased doctors. The state government is still mulling compensation to 65 families while the IMA requests to expedite the relief funds.
