2:58Now PlayingThe Enforcement Directorate initiated a money-laundering investigation on the basis of the FIR registered by the Uttarakhand Police. The agency launched a probe under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and it was revealed that the labs were given the contract by the Uttarakhand government for conducting Rapid Antigen Test/RT-PCR tests to detect the viral infection during the Kumbh Mela. ED conducted raids at five diagnostic labs and seized incriminating documents, bills, laptops, phones, and cash. The residence of the lab directors was also searched by the probe agency.
