3:04Now PlayingIn the Supreme Court hearing on the Pegasus row, the Centre has denied all allegations of illegal surveillance against the government of India. Several petitions in the case, alleged the government of illegally snooping into the government officials. The two-page affidavit filed in the Supreme Court by the Ministry of Information and Technology, said, "unequivocally denies all allegations." The government also said that it will set up an expert committee to probe into the Pegasus controversy. The centre in the Supreme Court dismissed all allegations saying that the spyware is mere “conjectures, surmises” based on “unsubstantiated media reports or incomplete or uncorroborated material.” Watch the video to know more!
